TransTrem, HazLabs EQ v2, neck painted in a dark red and glossy finish
Alan Shipston (responsible for Steinberger instruments during the Music Yo era) writes about it:
”I'm fairly certain that I worked on this particular guitar. Around 2006-07 I was looking for additional colors to bring into the line. We tried some exotic wood models and some paint experiments to see what would work and what wouldn't. I believe that Pat Wilkins (www.wilkinsguitarfinishes.com) painted this GM4 as he is possibly the one who invented the black cherry finish. […] I also had him paint the neck a deep red/black to match the finish.”
