Pictures
A gallery of Steinberger guitars, owned by European guitar and bass players.
A former GM-5, heavily modified and hard to categorize using the typical model numbering scheme. Visually it's resembling a GM-2, technically it is not. The owner describes it this way:
“I refer to it as Einsteinberger, since it was made with rocket science.”
Specs: EMG 85, EMG SA, Sustainiac Stealth plus, Roland GK3 pickup and internal unit, push-pull volume pot activates the sustainer. Below the volume pot there is a selector for the sustain mode. Two push buttons for MIDI up/down, extra MIDI volume pot. Selector switch for synth output, regular guitar output, and mixed settings.
