Small Things, Sometimes Hard To Find (Mechanical, Other)
All of the parts listed here are things I needed for my own projects. Sometimes they were hard to find, sometimes they haven‘t been available at all, so I had to have them made for me. In most cases it was not possible or reasonable to order just the numbers I needed, so I‘ve got some “overstock”. This might be your chance to get some parts you need for your own projects. Please note that I‘ve got only limited numbers of whatever you see here. For more information (also about how to get the parts) just send me an e-mail. Currently available (scroll down for detailed information):
•Neck screws for Steinberger + Moses composite necks
•Neck inserts for Steinberger + Moses composite necks
•Saddles for the R-Trem or hardtail bridges (NOS)
Neck Screws for Newburgh, Nashville and Music Yo Bodies
Maybe not a problem for anyone living in the USA, but sometimes a problem when living in Europe or any other part of the world. I‘ve got neck screws in several lenghts, which can be combined to sets fitting for any Steinberger body. Just tell me what you have or need. I think it doesn‘t make any sense to sell these (back) to the US, you guys get them easily in your own country. But for the rest of us this might be helpful. The screw size is 10-32, length 1 1/2" or
1 1/4 " (for all bodies except Nashville GMs/GRs, which need non-standard lengths). Please note that Moses necks bought separately often come with 8-32 inserts and screws. Make sure you‘ve got the correct 10-32 inserts for your neck (standard size for Steinberger necks).
Neck Inserts
Finally I found a source making exactly those 10-32 inserts which are used on Moses necks (these also work for repair jobs on Newburgh/Nashville necks). So if you've lost your inserts or got a neck with the wrong (8-32) inserts, here is your chance to get the correct ones, without having to order them from Moses.
R-Trem saddles (also for FX-Bridge)
I‘ve got a couple of NOS Hohner type R-Trem saddles. I'm using them as an alternative to the original saddles on the JCustom FX-Bridge, because these contain a small insert which might get lost. Once it is lost, you cannot use the saddle any more, and I‘m trying to avoid that :-)
So if you feel the same, some sets are still available.
